Have Questions? FAQs are Here!

MIAMI FACULTY HAVE WON OUR UNION VOTE!

This win is the result of more than two years of your hard work. We are inspired by your doggedness and solidarity as you spoke to colleagues about their working conditions, gathered signatures for our mission signature poster, collected signed cards to request an election, submitted testimonials for why you’re voting yes, and finally submitted your #UnionYes ballots.

We are one faculty, and this win will allow us not only to bargain for a strong first contract for TT and TCPL faculty but also to work with our new FAM Librarian unit as they win their election!

Next on the agenda: share your priorities by filling out your bargaining survey.

Frequently Asked Questions

We are the Faculty Alliance of Miami

Through teaching, research, and community involvement, we generate the knowledge and dialogue that a democratic society requires from a public research university. Every day, across ranks and campuses, Miami’s teacher-scholars foster student success and academic excellence. As a faculty, we resolve to organize a union to protect this mission and the public good it has created.
